Swipe Maze(another working title)

While waiting for inspiration to come back and smack me around a bit to finish Puzzle Ball, I had another random game idea and through together a prototype build for Swipe Maze. basically the plane will change its direction to that of which a user swipes across the screen. no other work done then basic game logic, couple of quick levels and temporary art in place. here's a quick look:

Puzzle Ball (Working Title)

Well I have managed to create a total of 10 levels in my latest mobile game which means I have added 2 levels in about as many weeks......., not very good going. Will try and stay on track to have 18 fully functioning levels in by the end of the week so I can get back on track with my plan of 36 levels on release day. Whats been the hold up?, Well my family must always come first and have been busy renovating the back yard to set up a play centre and cordon off an area for the dogs. Halfway there on that front but out of funds for the fortnight so back to game making in my spare time :).

Space Dodge published onto next game

soo, have finally published a game on the play store, titled Space Dodge. Took way too long to get it to the basic level of where it is, as well as it generated basically 0 interest from any body so now its onto game no 2. This game doesn't actually have a name yet but the idea hit me while I was at work and got the basics in and some art sourced from kenny.nl, plus a few very basic assets I created my self and I have a functioning template set up upon which to build the game. Set up is pretty simple its just a casual puzzle game where the player is tasked with moving blocks into place to allow a ball to drop with physics and roll on the blocks (or bounce off them) to collect all the stars in one level.

so heres a preview of first few levels. My wife identified a few bugs last night so will sort those out and then keep moving, want to have 36 levels done with the set up being more complex for each level.

Soon i will set up a website devoted to all this and giveaway my very very begginer art for any who want it.

First Post

First Blog just to get things started.

So I am an Australian father of 2 very young children and run a full time job so my game creating is done at a very minimal level and with very little time. I suspect I am not alone in this regard at all and hopefully somewhere out there is a dad living the dream life where his games creations now pay his life style. Any way I have an Android game mostly completed that I plan on releasing this month so hopefully all goes well and i will keep this blog updated with my progress.
